The XROS 6 Mini costs the same as the XROS 5 Mini (R429) but has nearly double the battery (1600mAh vs 900mAh) and a larger 3ml pod. The XROS 6 is only R20 more than the XROS 5 and adds a colour screen, VENTURI airflow, and fast charging. The upgrade case is strong.

The XROS 6’s biggest upgrade isn’t the screen — it’s the VENTURI airflow. Which one should you buy?
- Best value compact: XROS 6 Mini at R429 — same price as the XROS 5 Mini with vastly better battery and pod. Unless you specifically prefer a smaller device, this is the no-brainer pick at this price point.
- Best all-rounder: XROS 6 at R549 — for R20 more than the XROS 5 you get a colour screen, VENTURI airflow, fast charging, and 300mAh extra battery. Hard to justify buying the XROS 5 when the upgrade costs less than a cup of coffee.
- Still want the XROS 5? The XROS 5 at R529 remains a solid, proven device. If you’ve used one before and trust it, no reason to switch — but the XROS 6 is right there.

The XROS 6 supports 3A USB-C fast charging — 10 minutes gives you roughly 50% battery. The XROS 5 charges at standard USB-C speed. Both Mini models charge at 2A.
Does the XROS 6 Mini have a screen?
No. The XROS 6 Mini has no screen, just like the XROS 5 Mini. The full-size XROS 6 has the 0.88" TFT colour screen. This keeps the Mini compact and simple.
