What kind of vape is the V-Prime?
This is the most versatile device OXVA makes, and the one spec that matters most is the airflow range. With adjustable airflow and up to 60W on tap, the V-Prime genuinely covers tight MTL at one end and airy direct lung at the other. That is unusual. Most pod systems pick a lane and stay in it.
So it is not a direct-lung-only device, and it is not a cigarette-replacement-only device either. If you have been vaping a while and you want one body that handles a tight morning draw and a loose evening one, this is the device in our range that does it. Build quality and design
This is where the money goes, and it shows. The zinc alloy body with leather and IML accents is the best-finished device in the OXVA range by a clear margin. The pod locks in firmly, the weight feels substantial without being heavy, and the 0.96 inch colour screen is bright and genuinely readable rather than a token display. Performance and vapour
The 60W ceiling is the headline, and it is real. Pushed hard with the airflow open, the V-Prime produces dense vapour that most pod systems cannot approach. Pulled back with the airflow closed, it behaves like a well-mannered MTL pod. The 5ml top-fill pod is the largest in our range, which matters more than it sounds: at direct-lung settings you get through liquid faster, so a bigger pod is not a luxury.
The 0.01 second auto-draw is quick enough that there is no perceptible delay between inhaling and vapour. No button to remember.
Battery life
2600mAh is the largest battery in any device we stock, and it needs to be. Direct-lung vaping at higher wattage draws far more power than MTL, so a device like this with a 1500mAh cell would be charging twice a day. At moderate MTL settings the V-Prime will go well beyond a day. Pushed at 60W it will not, and that is physics rather than a fault.

What to consider
- It is the second most expensive device we sell. Most people do not need 60W
- V-Prime pods are specific to this device. They do not share with the XLIM family, so check before you buy replacement pods
- Running it at direct-lung settings uses noticeably more e-liquid, so factor that into your monthly cost
- Bigger and heavier than a slim pod like the XROS 6 Mini
Is the V-Prime worth R729?
If you are an experienced vaper who wants one device to cover everything, and you would rather have a premium pod than carry a box mod, yes. The battery, the pod capacity and the build genuinely justify the price at that brief.
If you are coming off cigarettes, no. Start with the XROS 6 Mini at R429, or spend less again on the Xlim Go Lite at R269 or the Xlim Go 2 at R309. You will get a better result from a simpler device and the right nicotine strength than from 60W you never use.
