Step-by-step longfill vape juice mixing process showing flavour shot, VG, and nicotine shot

How to Mix a Longfill: Quick & Easy Step-by-Step Guide

Longfills are a popular vape juice format, perfect for vapers who prefer customizing their nicotine strength and VG content. Instead of purchasing a pre-mixed 120ml e-liquid often subject to higher vape taxes, you buy the components separately: a 30ml flavour shot, VG, and a nicotine shot. This method is not only flexible, but also a cost-effective way to reduce vape tax, since VG and flavour concentrates are not taxed as finished e-liquid.

Let’s get started.

To mix your longfill, make sure you have the following:

✅ 1 x 120ml longfill bottle (with 30ml flavour shot inside)
✅ 1 x 80ml VG (Vegetable Glycerine)
✅ 1 x 10ml Nicotine Shot
✅ 1 x Bottle opening tool or pliers (to remove the nozzle cap)

Step-by-Step Mixing Instructions

1️⃣ Open the Flavour Shot Bottle
Use a bottle-opening tool (or a pair of pliers) to pop off the nozzle cap of the 120ml longfill bottle. This will give you access to the bottle so you can start mixing.

2️⃣ Pour in the VG
Take your 80ml VG bottle, open it, and carefully pour the VG into the 120ml bottle. VG is thick, so take your time to avoid spills. You should now have 110ml total in the bottle.

3️⃣ Squeeze in the Nic Shot
Next, open your 10ml nicotine shot and squeeze the entire contents into the 120ml bottle. This will bring your total mix to 120ml with approximately 1.5mg nicotine strength.

4️⃣ Close & Shake
Push the nozzle cap back onto the bottle until it clicks into place. Then, shake the bottle thoroughly for 30–60 seconds to make sure the flavour, VG, and nicotine are fully mixed.

💡For best results, allow the juice to steep for a few days. This helps the flavours blend and intensify.

That’s It — You’re Ready to Vape!

Mixing a longfill is quick, simple, and gives you full control over your vape. Once mixed, store your juice in a cool, dark place, and enjoy smoother flavour after a few days of steeping. Got questions about longfills or need more mixing tips? Drop us a message—we’re happy to help.
